meanwhile... #4 finally scheduled

The much delayed Meanwhile... #4 featuring a reprint of Millidge's hard-to-find Strangehaven-related strip, "Chicken" has finally been scheduled for a July 2001 release.
Originally published in the enormous Belgian anthology album, "Formaline" (December 1995) the four-page strip was promised to publisher John Anderson in early 1998 for inclusion in the fourth issue of his British anthology comic title, "Meanwhile..." and Millidge also provided a new colour painted cover (as seen here). Unfortunately, due to distribution and funding problems, Meanwhile... #4 was constantly delayed until now.
Originally intended to be a 32-page comicbook, Meanwhile... #4 has grown into a 96-page squarebound book due for publication by Soaring Penguin in July 2001.
Other contributors to the anthology include Bill Naylor (Garth), Frazer Irving (2000AD), David Hailwood, Stuart Giddings, Richard Hayes, John Maybury, Neil Cameron, Graeme Reid and many more.
Cover price is $9.95 US or £6.50 UK and is available through your local comic store via Diamond Distributors.

UPDATE: We understand that due to difficulties in shipping the book from the printers in the Far East, distribution of Meanwhile...#4 to comic stores will be delayed until early November 2001.
