Small press goes weird and cosmic
Abiogenesis Press is a new Southend-based small press publisher, run by Gary Spencer Millidge.
The first publication from the company will be the 32-page title, Strangehaven.
Described by the author as "a kind of English rural Twin Peaks", the story is set in a village on the edge of Dartmoor, and focuses on the inhabitants' dark secrets.
The first issue, which will appear in June, is written, drawn, lettered and painted by Millidge, and will retail for £1.50.
Retailers should note that the title is being offered by both Diamond and Capital this month. Customers of First Choice Wholesale and Comics warehouse will receive a complimentary copy of the first issue.
