After driving around in circles all day, Alex returns to the village of Strangehaven. Trusting in fate, he decides to stay a while - much to the delight of local girl Janey. Far too many bizarre characters and incidents to list, suffice to say that if you enjoyed Twin Peaks/Northern Exposure and appreciate quality writing and artwork, then you'll no doubt enjoy this. Little does he know, but when Alex accepts the offer of a teaching job at Strangehaven's primary school, he's also being sized up by one of the high priests of the local weird religious sect. More spooky shenanigans from England's wackiest village. With pretty nice art, too. (MJA)
A deeper and darker dip into the increasingly strange village of Strangehaven and its Masonic inhabitants' desire to make visitor Alex a permanent fixture there. Comic techniques improve with this issue, creating an absorbing and dangerous read. (RJJ)
