Alex turns down Janey, Jeremy has an archery and ecology lesson…I'm beginning to suspect that story and plot don't matter much here: what makes this series attractive is the slow, dreamlike unfolding of mysterious events and characters. And, of course, Millidge's beautiful black and white art. (MK)
