Steven Grant has just reviewed Strangehaven for his Permanent Damage column on the Comic Book Resources website, “A great argument for comics-as-literature.” Be prepared to scroll down the page, as Steven writes long columns.
Another overwhelmingly positive review of the Strangehaven trade paperback collections has appeared on the excellent Spinner Rack website, written by Niall Rough; “Proof-positive that there’s more to comics than spandex and superpowers.”
Comic Book Galaxy’s Alan David Doane has been quick off the blocks with his review of Strangehaven #14 and has rated it five out of five! Alan has also reviewed the two Strangehaven trade paperbacks Arcadia and Brotherhood and has given them top marks also.
Meanwhile, those wonderful gals at the Sequential Tart website have listed Strangehaven in their top ten alternative comics recommended reading list, handily available in downloadable pdf format.
Johanna Draper Carlson has also posted a capsule review of issue #14 on her Comics Worth Reading site.
Nick Brownlow has also reviewed Arcadia for the Ninth Art website and Glen Carter has reviewed Brotherhood for silverbullets.com.
