Strangehaven has received yet another major industry award nomination, this time for an Eagle Award for titles published during 2003.
The Eagle Awards, originally established in 1976, have been resurrected this year for Mike Allwood’s Comics Expo, held at the Ramada Hotel in Bristol, England, in November 2004. The nominations are decided by a ballot of comics professionals, and voted on by the comic buying readership worldwide.
Gary’s Strangehaven series was one of three titles nominated for the Favourite British Small Press Title category, which also included the eventual winner, Carl Critchlow’s Thrud the Barbarian and Paul Grist’s perennial favourite Jack Staff.
